On Monday morning last, after a lingering illness, Sarah Ellen Roundtree, daughter of Meredith and Malinda Rountree, aged 19 years and 8 months. The deceased was an intelligent, amiable young lady, and has left a large circle of friends to mourn her untimely death. She has gone to rest. “The storm that wrecks the bending sky, No more disturbs her calm repose. Than summer evening’s latest sight, That shuts the rose.” Her disease was consumption.
